A classic Egyptian inspired snake collar featuring a thick 9ct gold band that expands and slithers fluidly. The serpent's head and tail unite at the bottom, symbolising eternal love and have been delicately engraved and set with pink ruby eyes.
Egyptian style snake jewellery saw a revival in the 20th Century after an abundance of archaeological discoveries, most notably the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb brought about a fascination and desire for Egyptian themed pieces across Europe.
It’s a classic design and is held securely by a box clasp and safety catch at the end, complete with the maker’s mark and Birmingham hallmarks.
